Google+, branded communities, mobile--the emerging trends in social come as fast as you can read about them on Mashable. But which ones really matter, and which are a flash in the pan? More to the point, which do you need to pay attention to for your marketing programs? What strategies will marketers be adopting to be successful in social media this quarter, this year, next year?

Make sense of emerging strategies in social with help from Tomeeka Farrington, principal and founder of Spotlight Communications and developer of the Social Media U continuing education program. Ms. Farrington will explore the newest trends in social media. She'll explore actionable strategies to get your message heard and position your marketing strategy to meet the ever-changing challenges of the social media world. Topics include:

  • What are the top five trends and platforms you need to think about?
  • How will social media be different in upcoming years from what you're used to?
  • How do you evolve your marketing strategy to meet changes such as mobile?
  • How to manage social media change, whether you're a team of one or in a large department

Staying on top of social media strategy takes a lot of in-depth knowledge. Join one of Boston's leading social media and PR professionals as she guides us through emerging trends, honing in on what you need to know now.

Whether you're a seasoned pro, or consider yourself still exploring social, bring your questions and prepare about the future of social media.

Refreshments will be served, thanks to event sponsor Hubspot:
